4:30am-tastic Assignment Action

October 31, 2006

Goin men’al (that’s cockney for… )

Doing this crappy Contemporary Cultures thing due in 8 hours. A soundscape and 1000 word paper to explain it. It’s of 9/11 sounds layered with audio snippets of Bush and shit + some well erroneous sounds – like Bryan Adams.

Ok, it’s not fully shit I suppose, but being overstretched with all this end of semester work, I can’t devote enough time to it to make it truly smashing. At any rate, it sounds truly macabre and disturbing… hope Collin (the tutor, who is cool and an audio nerd of sorts) can sit through the whole 10 minutes.

Maybe I’ll post it on YouTube with some token visuals. Serious flame bait, huh.

If you care and/or are bored, click the ‘more’ link below to check all the shit I sampled for the project.

Now for the 1000 words…

A Dexathon: Bolstering Academia

May 30, 2006

9:30pm: Blank Page

Prediction: In 6-10 hours there will be 4 pages of well-referenced drivel.

What happens in between now and then is a bit of pain, pissing in the wind, and a whole lot of D5 action. POST
